Cardiology Magazine: Evolving With You in 2026
A refreshed Cardiology magazine is coming in 2026! We've listened to member feedback and studied publishing trends to ensure the magazine continues to meet your needs in a fast-paced, digital-first world. Our redesigned publication is portable, practical and packed with the stories that matter most.
What's Changing
- A Smaller, More Portable Print Format: We're introducing a size that's easier to carry on the go, from your home to the clinic and beyond.
- Streamlined Frequency: To align with your preferences and optimize content delivery, Cardiology will publish 10 issues per year instead of monthly. Look for combined issues in January/February and July/August.
"Cardiology has chronicled the evolution of cardiovascular care, spotlighted emerging trends and provided a forum for commentary and thought leadership... Through all these changes, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to delivering high-quality journalism and member value."
Cardiology Editor-in-Chief Peter C. Block, MD, FACC
What Will Never Change
- Trusted, High-Quality Reporting: Our editorial standards remain as rigorous as ever.

"For more than five decades, Cardiology magazine has been the ACC's flagship member publication, serving as a trusted source of knowledge, perspective and connection for cardiovascular professionals worldwide. What began in the 1970s as a simple, one-color member newsletter has grown into a dynamic, much-read publication that reflects the ever-changing landscape of cardiovascular medicine and the needs of ACC members."
Cardiology Editor-in-Chief John Gordon Harold, MD, MACC
These changes reflect our ongoing mission to evolve with you and deliver the impactful science, meaningful stories and opportunities to connect that define the ACC community. We're making these updates to serve you, our readers, better!
Here's to a new chapter for Cardiology magazine. A redesigned and refreshed magazine will be available in your mailbox and online starting in late January 2026.
