New ACC Online Course Interactive Lesson on Baroreflex Activation Therapy
New interactive lessons have launched as part of ACC's online course, Baroreflex Activation Therapy: Optimizing Treatment of Heart Failure, which covers the stages of heart failure (HF) where baroreflex activation therapy (BAT) is effective, including its benefits and limitations for early intervention. The lessons, as well as patient case quizzes and an infographic, discuss criteria for selecting patients for BAT, the synergy between devices and drugs in HF treatment, and the role of a multidisciplinary team in optimizing BAT to improve patient outcomes. Join Maya E. Guglin, MD, FACC, for the interactive lesson on optimizing BAT for heart failure patients and explore the rest of the course!
