The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is rolling out the Ambulatory Specialty Model (ASM), a five-year mandatory value-based care model for heart failure, starting next year. To prepare cardiovascular clinicians for participation, the ACC is developing educational tools, checklists and other resources.
