Through a partnership between the ACC, Japanese College of Cardiology, Japanese Circulation Society and MedAxiom, a multidisciplinary group of leading cardiovascular experts convened in Tokyo, Japan, in March 2026, to examine current challenges and opportunities in the detection and management of aortic stenosis (AS) in Japan. The discussion generated insights to inform practical, high-impact strategies for advancing AS care nationwide, with a shared focus on improving early detection and diagnosis, enabling timely treatment and ultimately enhancing outcomes for patients across Japan. The findings have been published in a new report.
