New JACC Leadership Page Explores the Future of Predictive CV Prevention
In a new Leadership Page published in JACC, ACC President Roxana Mehran, MD, FACC, and Eric J. Topol, MD, FACC, examine how AI, genomics, data science and other digital health technologies are transforming cardiovascular prevention. They describe a shift from traditional, population-based risk assessment to a more individualized, predictive and continuous approach to care, with the potential to identify cardiovascular risk long before symptoms develop.
