CHAPTER ENGAGEMENT | The ACC Connecticut Women in Cardiology (WIC) Chapter held its first meeting of the academic year in August 2019 and brought together female cardiovascular attending physicians and Fellows in Training from around the state.

Amongst wonderful company and great food, this informal meet-and-greet allowed for the new and existing members of the chapter to get together, network and strengthen the bond of women in cardiology.

There were a multitude of discussions, including conversation of the unique challenges that women face in the field of cardiology, mentorship opportunities and the future direction of the chapter.
