American College of Cardiology President Mary Norine Walsh, MD, FACC, made the following statement regarding today's passage of H.R. 1215, Protecting Access to Care Act of 2017:

"Medical liability reform is an essential part of lowering health care costs and increasing patient access to high quality care.
