Statin-related myopathy is dose related, occurring at rates of up to 25 percent. However, this risk can be increased tenfold when statins are administered with medications that inhibit metabolism. Therefore, the College has created an infographic to provide information on how to avoid the combination of potentially interacting immunosuppressants and statins, as well as tips on how to prevent potential errors.
