Apply For ABIM's Item-Writing Task Forces by March 1

Open seats are now available on the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Item-Writing Task Forces. The role of the Item-Writing Task Forces is to help create content for the certification and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) exams, select and pre-approve items for final review by Exam Committees, and test and refine the model-based approach to item development. The Task Forces, spanning all 20 disciplines, are especially critical to helping ABIM offer its new Knowledge Check-Ins – an alternative option to the traditional 10-year MOC exam. ABIM strongly encourages candidates from groups under-represented in medicine, as well as physicians who practice in smaller communities or safety-net institutions. Learn more about these open roles. The deadline for submissions is March 1.
