• Understand the business of medicine: Learn how to code and bill accurately, review accounts receivable every month. Know how much you pay in rent, utilities, office supplies, leases, employee salaries and benefits. Have a broad understanding of the money coming into the practice and the money being spent on expenses (the difference will be your take-home paycheck!).
