Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Response and Outcomes During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Survival from out of hospital sudden cardiac arrest was lower during the COVID-19 pandemic, even in moderately affected U.S. communities, according to an article published in JACC: Clinical Electrophysiology.

The authors note that optimizing community and Emergency Medical Services response during the ongoing pandemic and future outbreaks may improve survival. Read more.
