ACC's new Benevolence Fund provides $1,500 emergency financial relief to support medical students, residents and Fellows in Training facing unforeseen financial hardship. Awards are granted twice a year to help applicants overcome a short-term challenge and stay on track toward a career in cardiology and are made possible thanks to a generous gift from Eugene Sherman, MD, MACC.
