The ACC is seeking comments on the ACC/AHA/HRS Advanced Training Statement on Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, which updates the 2015 training requirements for CCEP specialists. It identifies core ACGME competencies required by all CCEP specialists – as well as those who choose to pursue training in several optional, highly specialized CCEP areas. It also updates recommendations for procedural experience to demonstrate competence as a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist. Comments are due by Monday, Aug. 25.
