JACC: Advances: Recognizing Innovation in Academic Advancement
An increasing number of academic faculty are engaging in innovation-related activities in technology, medical devices and health care delivery. In response to this growth, academic medical centers should implement quantifiable entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial metrics that recognize and reward physician innovators' accomplishments, according to Kartik Agusala, MD, FACC, et al., in a recent article published in JACC: Advances.
