Cardiac Amyloidosis: Clinical Gaps and Unmet Needs Roundtable

The 2021 Cardiac Amyloidosis: Clinical Gaps and Unmet Needs Roundtable is the first Heart House Roundtable dedicated to the topic of cardiac amyloidosis and coincides with exciting new developments in therapies for this disease. The last decade has seen a marked improvement in treatment options for the disease. However, clinical gaps remain: while early diagnosis is critical to slow the progression of all subtypes of the disease, many clinicians remain unfamiliar with optimal diagnostic approaches, which can cause delays in subsequent treatment. The Cardiac Amyloidosis: Clinical Gaps and Unmet Needs Roundtable brings together leading experts to discuss gaps in the knowledge, diagnosis, and management of cardiac amyloidosis and establish next steps around a focused set of solutions to address challenges within the disease.
