The 2022 Emerging Strategies and Criteria for the Diagnosis and Management of Myocarditis Heart House Roundtable is designed to explore gaps associated with the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of myocarditis with the goal of providing uniformity around its definition to improve disease management. Discussions at the Roundtable examine the continuum of myocardial injury and myocarditis; clinical, imaging, and pathology criteria; evolving biomarkers; social impacts on patients and caregivers; and coverage for screening and diagnostic strategies.
