Meet your education, licensure, and certification requirements with one single program.
The CMP Topics in each SAP will be updated on February 2, 2023. Please wait until then to start answering the Practice Questions. Any work you do in the CMP topics prior to February 2 will be erased when the new topics are published.
The ABIM/ACC Collaborative Maintenance Pathway (CMP) is an alternative Maintenance of Certification (MOC) assessment option that allows you to stay 100% certified by focusing on just 20% of the field each year. Over a span of 5 years, your entire knowledge base is covered. It's delivered through ACC's SAPs, so you will also get access to all the comprehensive educational material, annual updates and CME/MOC credit needed.
Annual participation requires:
- Reviewing the CMP topic(s) for the year.
- Completing the practice questions for the year's CMP topic(s) and scoring 70% or better.
- Taking and passing a Performance Assessment (a 60-question online test) for that year's topic(s).
A passing score on the Performance Assessment satisfies your MOC assessment requirement. As a simplified option for refreshing your knowledge, staying licensed, AND maintaining your certification, the CMP delivers everything you need annually through one single program.
