JACC: Advances is planning an upcoming focus issue on women's cardiovascular health, highlighting the latest advances in science, clinical care and health policy aimed at improving cardiovascular outcomes for women. Despite major progress in cardiovascular medicine, women remain underrepresented in research and continue to experience disparities in diagnosis, treatment and outcomes. The issue seeks to amplify research and perspectives that address these gaps, advance understanding of sex-specific mechanisms and promote equity in cardiovascular care. Submissions are due by Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.
