Advancing Maternal Health For All

The ACC is committed to ensuring all patients, including those who are pregnant or postpartum, have access to high-quality cardiovascular care. In recognition of Black Maternal Health Week, the College celebrates a recent maternal health victory – the passage of the Preventing Maternal Deaths Reauthorization Act – while acknowledging the work that remains to eliminate disparities in outcomes, particularly by race. ACC Advocacy is working to advance several bills to improve maternal health nationwide, including the Connected Maternal Online Monitoring Act and the Rural Obstetrics Readiness Act.
