Advanced Concepts in Echocardiography: Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (ACE-HCM)

- Gain insight around advancements in echocardiography modes and clinical approaches from our physician champions and sonographer leadership team.
- Practice your echo skills using a simulator and in-person patients while receiving one-on-one guidance from expert sonographers.
- Learn to identify HCM pathophysiology and key symptoms of HCM and how to effectively communicate detailed quantifications and clear interpretation.
- Connect with fellow sonographers in your area and ACC's expert faculty to expand your network.
Goal
The overall goal of the education is to equip sonographers and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with the knowledge and skills to correctly perform a high-quality hypertrophic cardiomyopathy echocardiography.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the key clinical indications for echocardiographic evaluation in patients suspected of having HCM.
- Utilize various echocardiographic modalities effectively to assess HCM.
- Discuss factors that can compromise image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
- Demonstrate a systematic echocardiographic evaluation for HCM, including the necessary views and windows.
- Interpret echocardiographic findings accurately in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to distinguish HCM from other cardiac conditions with similar features.
Target Audience
The target audience for ACE HCM includes sonographers and Advanced Practice Practitioners (APPs); other healthcare professionals with an interest in echocardiography would also find this product to be a valuable resource.

- When you arrive, the garage door will be closed.
