“The recently released joint proposal to repeal the sustainable growth rate put forth by the Senate Finance Committee and House Ways and Means Committee is an important and historic landmark in the decade long effort to bring sustainability to the Medicare program. The ACC is strongly encouraged by the bipartisan, bicameral efforts underway and looks forward to working with both chambers to ensure a final package is enacted that incentivizes appropriate, evidence-based high quality medicine.”
