Battle of the American College of Cardiology Chapters: Texas, Ireland Win 2024 FIT Jeopardy
Domestic and international teams face off on clinical cardiology skills knowledge in game show-style competition at ACC.24

Who are the 2024 American College of Cardiology (ACC) Fellows-in-Training (FIT) Jeopardy Champions? The Texas Chapter of the ACC has won the domestic FIT Jeopardy Competition: Battle of the Chapters and ACC’s Ireland Chapter has won the international FIT Jeopardy competition held during the American College of Cardiology’s Annual Scientific Session (ACC.24).
ACC FIT Jeopardy is a friendly competition among domestic and international fellows-in-training that fosters FIT engagement in their state or national chapters. The popular competition features Jeopardy categories based on the American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiovascular Disease Exam Blueprint. This year, forty domestic teams and three international teams competed in FIT Jeopardy.
Defending their title, the Texas Chapter won the domestic FIT Jeopardy competition for the second year in a row. Their team included Riyad Kherallah, MD, Anupama BK, MD, and Jerin George, DO. All members of the Texas Chapter team were from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
The Ireland team included Jenny Caron, MD, Tadhg Prendiville, MD, and Robert Kerley, MD.
