Webinar Overview

This webinar will provide an introduction to cardio-oncology for medical students. Cardio-oncology is a rapidly evolving field that addresses two leading causes of death, heart disease and cancer. However, many medical students lack exposure and awareness of this field. We intend to provide a basic overview of the field, discuss the day-to-day activities of a practicing cardio-oncologist, explain the career path, and offer suggestions of how interested students can get involved.
