Join us for this case-based discussion on the management of pulmonary hypertension (PH) in the pregnant patient. PH among pregnant women carries a high mortality rate for both the mother and the fetus with mortality rates ranging from 30-50%. Recently, studies have shown that mortality can be decreased in pregnant patients with well controlled PH. This webinar, presented by the ACC Reproductive Health & Cardio-Obstetrics Section, will discuss the management of PH during pregnancy. The discussion will also include specific management decisions in the adult congenital heart disease patient with PH during pregnancy and considerations for labor and delivery.
