FDA Approves Transcarotid Stent System
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the ENROUTE Transcarotid Stent System on May 18, which works with the ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System. The stent re-opens narrowed regions of the carotid arteries and features a shorter delivery catheter for insertion directly into the neck.
