Stronger Action Urged on Youth E-Cigarette and Cigar Use
The ACC recently joined with a broad coalition of public health groups, led by the Center for Tobacco-Free Kids, to submit comments to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on proposed rules for certain deemed tobacco products including e-cigarettes, flavored tobacco and certain cigars. The comments urge the FDA take stronger action to address the current crisis of youth e-cigarette use, as well as to the continuing adverse public health consequences of youth cigar smoking.
