In our recent survey, we asked respondents about using colchicine after myocardial infarction (MI) based on the results of COLCOT (Colchicine Cardiovascular Outcomes Trial). Of the 114 respondents, just over a majority (53%) said the data were not quite ready for prime time. A total of 28% said they would consider using it routinely in most post MI patients, and an additional 18% would consider its routine use if it were inexpensive.
