ACC.15: Hot Science, More Learning, Less Lecturing

This post was authored by Athena Poppas, MD, FACC, chair of the ACC’s Annual Scientific Session.

The ACC’s 64th Annual Scientific Session will bring together the world’s leading cardiovascular professionals in an interactive and innovative learning environment. Taking place in San Diego, CA from March 14 – 16, 2015, the meeting will place a focus on more learning, less lecturing.

ACC.15 will feature 11 clinical learning pathways, including a new “Future of Cardiovascular Medicine” track, which will present ideas and concepts looking forward in time, imagining what the world of cardiovascular care will look like ten or twenty years down the road.

Each year scientific research presented at the ACC’s Annual Scientific Session impacts our clinical and academic practices, and nothing beats attending a meeting in-person and hearing about these latest advances first-hand.

We are now accepting submissions in 46 different categories covering the 11 clinical learning pathways. The deadline for abstract submissions is next Tuesday, Oct. 7, 4 p.m. ET. To submit your science, click here.

Stay tuned as the ACC.15 Late-Breaking Clinical Trial submission site will be open Oct. 15 – Dec. 8 for traditional late-breaker, registry and “new updates on old trial” submissions. We are excited for another great year, and hope to see you in sunny San Diego!
