Professional Bio:

Chloé Davidson Villavaso is a board-certified Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has been a cardiovascular registered nurse for 21 years. Chloé earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tuskegee University, a Master of Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and a postgraduate cardiovascular certificate from the University of South Alabama. Chloé is certified in cardiac-vascular nursing and cardiac medicine nursing. She holds a clinical faculty position at the Tulane University School of Medicine, Heart and Vascular Institute. Her clinical practice focuses on preventive cardiology with an interest in lipid disorders and hypertension management. Chloé’s work extends to numerous community outreach initiatives focusing on eliminating healthcare disparities. She is a member of several professional organizations. Chloé presently serves as the cardiovascular team representative for the Louisiana Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and is a board member, fellow, and chapter vice president of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. Chloé has served as faculty on several educational offerings and has authored peer reviewed publications on cardiovascular topics including hypertension, polypharmacy, surgical site infections, and maternal mortality.
