Improve CHD Patient Outcomes With ACC Quality Improvement Tools

As U.S. News & World Report releases its 2023-2024 "Best Children's Hospitals" list, the ACC would like to congratulate these hospitals and clinics and their doctor and care team champions. It is through their dedication to improving patient lives that change happens for the better. ACC's IMPACT Registry captures national quality-focused data on the management and real-world outcomes of pediatric and adult congenital heart disease (CHD) patients who undergo diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, providing treating facilities with executive summaries that offer big-picture reviews and benchmark reports to compare performance with the national aggregate. In addition, centers from small practices to large health systems working with CHD patients can become involved in ACC's Adult Congenital & Pediatric Cardiology Quality Network, a national network of facilities dedicated to data sharing, collaborating and developing best practices. Participating physicians are able to engage in quality improvement activities and earn MOC Part IV credit.
