We are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new initiative for CV Training Section members at ACC.16. The Education Research Poster Session will be held in conjunction with the Training Directors’ Symposium on Friday, April 1^st, 12:30 pm – 6 pm, and all members of the CV Training Section are invited to submit entries to the session. The session is designed to showcase educational initiatives and scholarship, including:

• Educational research projects
• Development or implementation of innovative educational tools
• Development and/or assessment of new curriculum 

Eligible submissions should describe innovative educational initiatives of the CV Training Section members, involving training of the faculty, fellows, residents, or students. Submissions should be in abstract form and, if accepted, will be presented in poster format. Previously presented posters will be considered for submissions, but preference will be given to submissions not previously presented at national conferences. This session is not part of the main ACC.16 programming.  

Guidelines for Submission

All submissions should be in abstract format with maximum of 500 words. Abstracts should be double spaced and submitted in .pdf format. Figures and Tables should be included in the submitted file.

For research projects, submission structure should include:

• Background
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusions

For educational tool or curriculum development, submission structure should include:

• Background/Needs Assessment
• Tool/Program Description
• Program Output/Evaluation
• Conclusions/Future Direction

Please mention if the submission was previously presented at a national or regional conference (including details e.g. date and type of conference).
