Patients with familial hypercholesterolemia can develop cardiovascular (CV) events even when treated with stable lipid-lowering therapy. This study analyzes which patient factors and CV risk factors are associated with higher CV risk despite optimal or maximum tolerated lipid-lowering therapy.
