Inappropriate dosing of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) is not uncommon in treating patients with atrial fibrillation (AFib). To that end, the College has created an infographic to provide information on how clinicians should appropriately dose DOACs.

The infographic advises clinicians who are prescribing DOACs for patients with AFib to adjust DOAC dose based on U.S. Food and Drug Administration prescribing guides. It also provides tips on how to prevent potential errors and educate patients. Download the infographic on ACC.org.
