Submit Nominations For the 2018 Douglas P. Zipes Distinguished Young Scientist Award

For over a decade, the Douglas P. Zipes Distinguished Young Scientist Award has recognized young physician scientists who—in amassing an impressive body of scientific research in the basic or clinical domains—have already made their contributions felt in the field of cardiovascular disease. The award recipient will receive free housing, registration and travel to present his or her work at ACC.18 in Orlando next March, plus a $1,000 monetary prize. Nominees should be no more than 12 years removed from receipt of first doctoral degree from an accredited U.S. institution or comparable international training program. Which of your early career colleagues is worthy? Send in your nomination by July 12.
