A series of eight state-of-the-art reviews is now publishing in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC).

One review is publishing each week, examining the top risk factors affecting the cardiovascular health of patients: diet, tobacco, lipid control/cholesterol, blood pressure, psychological health, weight, physical activity and blood sugar.

Each review will thoroughly address the pathophysiological effects of the risk factor; personal and social contributors to risk-related behavior; key factors that help end risk-related behavior; and competencies for health care professionals.
