Cardiology Magazine

Diabetes is a significant risk factor for heart failure and a common debilitating comorbidity. New emerging therapies and a better understanding of this comorbid condition can assist clinicians in improving care and outcomes for these patients. JACC: Heart Failure is focusing on the growing body of literature with a special issue on this topic planned for August. Submissions are due on or before April 2. Topics spanning this focus are welcome, including epidemiology, diagnosis and prognosis, short- and long-term outcomes, clinical management, phenotyping, emerging therapies, the role of biomarkers, and other relevant issues.
