Research Proposal Deadline Extended for Diabetes Collaborative Registry

The College’s Diabetes Collaborative Registry is seeking research proposals and has extended its research proposal application (RPA) deadline to Friday, June 1. Launched in 2014, the Diabetes Collaborative Registry has become a powerful resource for studies on the care and management of diabetic patients across multiple clinical specialties in the ambulatory space. Review the registry’s data elements on the data collection form. Interested investigators can submit RPAs by following these instructions. Researchers will need to create a free ACC account to gain access to the research management system. Investigators are awarded a limited number of funded research slots based on the scientific merit and analytic feasibility of their RPAs. The resulting abstracts or manuscripts undergo a final scientific review and can be submitted to scientific congresses or clinical journals after approval. Proposals submitted after June 1 will undergo rolling review for scientific merit and analytic feasibility during the summer, and investigators will be notified of acceptance in the fall. Learn more.
