The Cardiac Surgery Team Member Section is dedicated to enhancing the cardiac surgery team perspective within the College and supporting activities to promote the importance of collaboration between all members of the cardiac surgery heart team. Section initiatives include:

• Enhancing cardiac surgery team perspective in educational programming at ACC’s Annual Scientific Session
• Develop content for the ACC.org Cardiothoracic Surgeon Clinical Collection
• Identify and establish collaborations with relevant member sections including Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology, Interventional, Heart Failure and Transplant, Electrophysiology, and the ACC FIT and Early Career Sections
• Provide mentoring activities and opportunities throughout cardiac surgery disciplines with ACC’s Mentoring Program
