Conference to Spotlight Innovation in Health IT
New Orleans welcomes the 2013 HIMSS Annual Conference and Exhibition, March 3-7, 2013, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. More than 36,000 healthcare industry professionals are expected to attend to discuss health information technology issues and review innovative solutions designed to transform healthcare. President Bill Clinton leads a keynote roster that also includes James Carville, political consultant, and Karl Rove, media contributor and former deputy chief of staff and senior advisor to President George W. Bush. The Meaningful Use Experience, new to HIMSS13, is designed to help providers find EHR solutions that are certified for acute or ambulatory facilities. The exhibition also features knowledge sharing that focuses on usability and proven implementations.
