New ACC Chief Digital Officer to Head Digital Coordination Division

Steve Kerchner has joined the American College of Cardiology (ACC) as senior vice president, chief digital officer, of the College's new Digital Coordination Division. In his new role, Kerchner will lead the development and implementation of a new digital strategy for the ACC that ensures a unified and consistent experience across digital platforms, improves and enhances the College's digital offerings, and facilitates greater communication among stakeholders.

Prior to joining the ACC, Kerchner served as director at Sapient Corporation. He has more than 13 years of professional experience in information technology and business consulting, with clients across the commercial, industry association and nonprofit/non- government (NGO), and federal government sectors. Prior to Sapient, Kerchner worked with organizations including American Management Systems, Microsoft, MITRE, and the Naval Research Laboratory. He holds a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University and an MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
