Sleep Apnea Collection July Poll

Over the last decade, more and more cardiovascular specialists are engaging their patients in discussions of sleep-disordered breathing and its associated cardiovascular complications. In a 2011 ACC survey, continuous positive airway pressure therapy for obstructive sleep apnea was regarded as unsatisfactory and poorly effective by many cardiologists. Since that time, positive airway pressure therapies have significantly improved, and patient satisfaction has risen.
