Poll Results: NSTEMI in the COVID-Positive Patient

In the most recent poll, we asked what would be considered the optimal management for COVID-19-positive patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). The results reflect the ongoing uncertainty of optimal management. Results were almost evenly split between those who would take the invasive approach and perform coronary angiography within 24-48 hours (43.5%) and those who would manage medically with further management based on symptom development (36%). A minority of respondents (20%) chose one of the other 4 options, with none exceeding 7%.
