In a new Leadership Page published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Richard J. Kovacs, MD, FACC, president of the ACC; Kim K. Birtcher, MS, PharmD, AACC, ACC/AHA Task Force on Clinical Practice Guidelines member; and James E. Tisdale, PharmD, FACC, ACC Electrophysiology Section Leadership Council member, reflect on the past, present and future of pharmacist involvement in the ACC and in cardiology.

They write that the College offers many leadership opportunities for cardiovascular team members and note that several pharmacists serve in these positions at both the national and state chapter levels.
