Greece and Cyprus ChapterWelcome to the home of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Greece and Cyprus Chapter. Launched in April 2010, this Chapter aims to support the activities of the College, as well as retain a close relationship with the Hellenic Cardiological Society (HCS) and Cyprus Society of Cardiology (CSC).

The Hellenic Cardiological Society (HCS) is a nonprofit organization established in September 1948. The remarkable history of the HCS parallels the history of cardiology in Greece. The Society has approximately 2,500 members and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Hellenic Heart House is located at the center of Athens. The major goals of the society are the continued education of Greek Cardiologists and Cardiology Fellows, promoting awareness of cardiovascular disease risk factors/prevention, and advocating activities directly related to clinical practice and supporting competitive cardiovascular research. The Society organizes the Annual Congress, the WG Seminars and seminars for Cardiologists in training. The Hellenic Journal of Cardiology, indexed in PubMed, is the official Journal available online at
