Key Initiatives/Issues

A chronological tour of the activity undertaken by the Spanish Society of Cardiology for more than six decades, from its founding in the mid-twentieth century to its current works reveals the efforts to promote cardiovascular training and research in our country.

We want to mention that it has become a tradition for us to be part of SEC – FCACC annual exchange of experience. Thanks to this annual meeting, the doctors have the unique experience to share views and ideas: about the country's health system, about developments in cardiovascular medicine, new trends and equipment. It is a pleasure and an honor for the Spanish Society of Cardiology to work with the FCACC, the Florida chapter of ACC.

During the SEC and ACC bilateral meeting on August 27, 2017 our intention is to strengthen and develop the relations between SEC – ACC, new projects, initiatives and ways to consolidate our relationships.

In addition to the ACC's live courses, the Spanish Society of Cardiology offers educational events.
