In September, the ACC International Affairs team and SUN Pharma partnered to bring the Best of ACC.14 educational programs to more than 1,400 physicians and cardiovascular care team members in South East Asia. This is the eighth year of the very successful ACC and SUN Pharma, "BEST OF ACC" collaboration. ACC Faculty provided the latest practice innovations, new techniques and recent research findings directly to the physicians and cardiac care teams in Chennai and Mumbai, Kathmandu in Nepal and Dhaka in Bangladesh. ACC faculty consisted of experts in Heart Failure, Hypertension, Lipid Management and AF Arrhythmia Therapies, including Marc Pfeffer, MD, FACC, Carl Orringer, MD, FACC, Bruce Lindsay, MD, FACC, and Joshua Beckman, MD, FACC. The program also consisted of dynamic panel discussions including the 2014 ACC/AHA cholesterol and hypertension treatment guidelines, and the needs and scope of challenges encountered in global cardiovascular care.
