A "PINNACLE" Presence in Mexico

The ACC continues to broaden the reach of its outpatient cardiovascular data registries worldwide. Most recently the ACC partnered with its Mexico Chapter, in collaboration with both the Sociedad Mexicana de Cardiología and the Asociación Nacional de Cardiólogos de México, to establish a registry network that is aligned with the PINNACLE Registry. Mexico is the fourth country to partner with the PINNACLE Registry, which captures data on coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, diabetes and atrial fibrillation. India, Brazil and Argentina are the other three.

"It will take a global effort to reduce the burden of heart disease and we look forward to continuing these efforts with the dedicated cardiovascular community in Mexico," said ACC President Kim Allan Williams Sr., MD, FACC
