In October, ACC held its inaugural Regional Conferences in Mexico City, Mexico, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The two conferences were overwhelmingly successful, collectively attracting over 1,000 attendees. Over the course of both conferences, more than 100 original abstracts were submitted and 107 educational presentations were given. Additionally, attendees engaged in interactive and innovative learning through activities like Body Interact and Heart Songs simulations and satellite sessions that were broadcast across Latin America and the Middle East. Due to the success of these pilot conferences, the College plans to continue the program with a Latin America Conference in Mexico and a Middle East Conference in Dubai in 2017. The ACC Regional Conference program will also expand to include Asia, with the inaugural Asia Pacific Regional Conference taking place in Shanghai, China, Dec. 1 – 3, 2017.
