Hello from the ACC!

Hello to all our colleagues in the US and China!

It has been some time since we last connected in October of 2019. We at the American College of Cardiology hope all of you are well and continue to stay safe and healthy as you serve patients around the world affected by both cardiovascular disease and now COVID-19.

As you will remember, last year we gathered at the 2019 GWICC congress and launched the first-ever ACC US-China hospital partnership program. This partnership was a comprehensive initiative for advancing evidence-based, guideline-driven strategies for treating and managing arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation, in China and aimed to educate an extensive network of physicians through educational webinars.

We are very excited to announce the continuation of this partnership. We have several program initiatives set to take place this year, including a collaborative consensus-statement writing program. More details on this year's activities will be released in the coming weeks via email.

This newsletter aims to not only recap the exciting program work and projects we will collaborate on throughout 2020, but it is also a chance for us to connect with our colleagues throughout China and the US to address the latest science and trends within the EP community. We are truly honored to work alongside all of you once again and are eager to begin our work.
