The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University was founded in September 1928. It is a It is a comprehensive top three hospital jointly built by the Ministry and the province, which integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care and rehabilitation. Founded in 2016, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, under the leadership of Professor Jianzeng Dong, a cardiologist, is one of the largest cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment centers in the central region, with an annual intake of more than 110000 patients. More than 3000 cases of various types of examinations and ablation operations are carried out in the diagnosis and treatment center of atrial fibrillation and arrhythmia every year, including more than 1200 cases of radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation.

Shanghai General Hospital was founded in 1864 by French Consuls as one of the largest and the earliest western medicine hospitals in China. In 2002, Shanghai General Hospital was entitled as the First People's Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 1992, it was firstly evaluated as Class A tertiary general hospitals by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. For 25 consecutive years, Shanghai General Hospital has been awarded as the civilized model unit by Shanghai municipal government.

It occupies a land area of 303,333 square meters, and is the hospital with the largest area in Shanghai at present. There are 4003 permanent staffs, including 1297 physician doctors and 1640 nurses. The number of the actual using beds in hospital are around 2580. In 2017, there were 3.77 million outpatients, more than 110,000 inpatients, and around 80,000 surgical patients.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University was founded in 1930. After more than 80 years of development, it has become a comprehensive and modern hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. Now it has 3700 beds, service more than 2.6 million patients per year. Its annual inpatient treatment number is more than 100,000. The hospital has 29 teaching and research departments, 41 tertiary disciplines, 82 medical departments, 13 medical technology departments, 25 administrative departments and 25 teaching bases.
